Default Re: 1994 laser wont start. It died on road

Changed the fuel filter which was not done for the 36 000km I have driven the car.
Not sure if it was change in the previous 206 000km.
Started 10 sets of cranks later and ran nicely.

The fuel that came out of the filter that was taken out was filled with what would be described as fairly fine black silt. The fuel was black too. I could still blow air through the filter with my mouth.

Hope this info can be of some use to someone down the track.

It was the fuel filter.
The fuel filter wins!!!!!!!!!

Also for those who end up here I never could here my fuel pump run to prime the system under any circumstances.
