Default 2008 LT TDCI Focus

I have a couple of issues with my TDCI -maybe someone has comments.

Firstly I lost the flip remote key. No problem just using the spare non flip remote key. However now the remote lock/unlock has stopped working. Can I get this fixed , where and how much.

Secondly after starting the car immediately the engine fires there is a bang or boom noise on perhaps the rhs of the engine area. Looking at European forums this could be a common Euro ford issue of the ABS ''resetting''.
Anyone had anything similar/mine has now done 168000kms.

Thanks in advance.

could be a battery issue with the remote The owners manual says how to re program the car for the remote .but check its battery first.

Not had this issue with the engine on my LT TDCi

The bang from the engine after start up has proved to be that the plastic engine shroud is loose !
From inside the car it sounds awful.

Big relief.
