Just purchased a 2006 Focus 2.0 Ltr Petrol Manual for my son.
Car will start fine, but if you turn the ignition off and try to start the car within the next 5 minutes, it turns over, but won't start. When it does start, its slow and you need to give it a rev, like its starving for fuel. Car was serviced 700km ago by Ford, who said the battery needs replacing. We've tested the battery and it seems fine. Definitely seems more like a fuel issue. Any help would be appreciated. |

If you feel it is a fuel issue, there's only one way to test it properly, and that would be to get a fuel pressure gauge on it.
The fuel pressure gauge will tee in to the system at the junction of the fuel rail and the fuel line. From memory, 5/16" quick disconnect adaptors are needed. |
