Not necessarily, Opel Vauxhall still exists in Europe retaining most of their sales volume after GM departed.
In Australia, Ford's main "gun" is Ranger, followed by Mustang and Everest. The sales held by Holden in its
final years were arguably on different product segments and only existed due to aggressive discounts that
we're not sustainable. I think the value Japanese and Korean brands swallowed those sales in one gulp.

I think that there would be thousands of Colorado sales that wont go to Toyota, they are highly likely to go to Ford.

That's not a guarantee, the higher price of Ranger could mean those sales
now go to utes like D-Max or Triton, Navarra ect...

D-Max has increased massively in price for the new one. They are pricing it in the Hilux/Ranger area now.

One model has increased by 9k.

Mustang sales in July were 279. After the initial spike caused by not having a RHD for so long, I wonder what the true sustainable volumes are? a few hundred a month here, plus UK, plus south Africa most likely don't balance the business case for a next gen RHD

If the next gen is an evolved S550, then a lot of the ground work may already be done
as the next gen starts production in just over two years time.

If Ford passes on a NG RHD Mustang, that will be a sad day...

I've learned that CD6 Edge/Nautilus were dropped due to cost blowout and replaced by the original C2 plans.
I think that adds support to next gen Mustang being an evolution of S550, lowering costs and keeping more engineering.

So are Explorer/Lincoln Aviator the only CD6 vehicles at the moment?

Coupes always sell well in the first couple of years of release then tail off, not exclusive to Mustang
