Peruse the interwebs for smashed cars that were not insured. Not insured = not a write off. So fix it get a blue slip and......
A bloke who lived down the road from my old place did that. Dodgey repairs, he knew a guy that would blue slip his concoctions, sell them. It wasnt too unusual though to drive past and see said sold car back and some person throwing punches and remodelling this guys head. |

They do better work than I have sene in some of the restoration shops over the years.
