I think they should have lowered the roof slightly and shortened the rear overhang a bit, which is what Holden did with the Monaro. The ride height issue may be larger diameter tyres/wheels.

I doubt Ford Aus will ever make a Falcon coupe again. Monaro sales aren't that strong as they first were and last time we did it we had to whack blue stripes on them to get them out the door.

It's a shame really.

The interesting thing here is that he reckons it's worth $100 K.........

We all like to think that our pride and joys are worth the sum of their collective parts but..........."tell im he's dreamin"

Criticism aside, the car looks half right. The roofline needs to be lower and longer to finish further down the boot and the wheels may be too wide to allow the car to sit "over" them rather than "on" them.

woah its bloody awesome, you guys are on drugs if you cant see that!
i seriously love it, IMO you'd have no problems with insurance being a propperly constructed carim in 2 minds though as to weather its "worth" the 80k

sure, its awesome and all, but its only an XR8. its not based on anything overly 'special'
but then again, it is properly constructed, would come with all the engineering work (and the paperwork to back it up!) to allow it to pass anything.

would these get sprayed somewhere else , dosn't seem to have the factory stripes up n' down the sides of the car so common with fords ..
other than that pay more money for a 2 door dosn't really seem right to me unless it's somethin exotic but hey still looks nice I guesse..

The price is perhaps a few grand more than its probably worth but I would be more than happy for it to be registered in my name.

At least I know if I was sitting at the lights there would be a fair chance nothing like it would pull up alongside.

It still has that 'pensioner' look to it. The boot needs changing, chuck a spoiler/kit on it.

It just looks like a standard sedan - 2 doors. Oh, and make it black!
