Custom Embroidery

Hello Peeps,

Having looking at various cars at All Ford Day, Auto Salon, Street Machine Mags: alot of people have custom embroidery either on door trims or boot installs.

Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction of any Sydney Metro places that do this kind of work. All i am after is about 60cm X 30cm Ford Logo that has the 3D look to it.

I have heard of one company called Black Needle, but not too sure if this is a tiny worthless job for them concidering the machines they have worked on.

Any help would be great

If you just have the material, just go to any embroidery shop in shopping malls that do shirts and caps etc... This is good if you want to DIY retrim the door trim inserts.

If you want to do it to your seats then you may have to go car customisation/reupholsterer, who will most likely just take the seat trim off and bring it to a embroierer.

With logos or designs, its handy to have the .EPS file or other vector art (doesn't get grainy/pixelated when enlarging it), but if this is not avaliable, a large jpeg version should be ok, although they may charge you more to get it redrawn into a vector.

Im not after re doing the doors or seats just wanna attach the Ford logo to a piece of wood for a false floor in the boot
