Bought myself a rim cleaning brush but still end up splattering myself with gunk every time I clean them. Putting a sealant on them next week, hopefully that will make it a bit easier! |

I'll try not to get too off-topic but basically its a coating that is highly water repellant which means dirt, grime, etc comes off very easily:
http://www.carcareproducts.com.au/pr...im_sealant_kit I've put the sealant on my paint and also a specially designed one for glass. At speeds above 45km/h when it is raining the water just beads and slides straight over the windscreen! Awesome to watch, don't even need wipers! Takes a bit of effort to get it on but lasts up to 18mths and will save a lot of time and effort with washing. |

Black on red, looks brilliant, especially with the smoke black bonnet protector. Anyone would think you're an Essendon supporter !

They are the superturismo 17's and pirelli pzero rosso rubber. i was quoted anywhere between 600-700 per wheel from a few shops and got them for 400.

Yeah they are ridiculously light, they look better in real life too.
I bought mine through a shop in wagga after i asked him to match a price, but i now know the importer of o.z racing who may be able to hook you up and have them sent direct to you. I scored the pirelli rosso's for 175 each fitted. |

Finally got my King's Superlows fitted today and WOW what a difference to the handling and ride, I thought the rear swaybar upgrade was a noticeable improvement on handling but this thing feels like it's running on rails now
Before and after shots of ride height, plus a couple of new random shots |

Thanks Neale, I purchased the springs new off eBay for $250 shipped and it cost me $220 to have them fitted (2.5hrs labour) wheel alignment was apparently spot on after the install so it didn't need doing. Best mod yet since the 22mm whiteline rear swaybar upgrade

Looks good, Russ. How much lower than stock are the Kings springs? And where did you get/how much for the bonnet stone guard?

The drop from the stock springs (according to the eBay seller) is supposed to be about 50mm but I rang and spoke with someone at King Springs H.O. in Qld before I bought them as I wanted to make sure they would be suited to mine (2011 model) The guy there said about 40mm drop from stock but I'm more inclined to go with the eBay guys estimate. I was a bit concerned when I first saw it today as I thought it looked a bit too low, it was parked on soft grass but once I got it back on a hard surface it was fine I bought the bonnet guard from eBay as well, came with clear headlight protectors too, I picked up the lot for under $100 but it usually retails for around $175 from what I've seen. |

Thanks, Russ. Let's hope those springs don't sink too much more over time...

Hopefully they won't. After the install I took it home via The Royal National Park scenic route (down through Stanwell Park NSW ) it's got a fair few lumps, humps, bumps and twists and turns on the road, I didn't hear any scraping or other sounds, overall the ride is brilliant compared to stock. Body roll has been all but eliminated and it's much more sure footed and planted to the road, IMO ride comfort has actually been improved over the stock suspension. I'm a Happy Camper
