Sir, I can back that up as fact. That's me. However, doing that also increases the chance of you breaking something, and having to send it to the mechanics anyway.....which I can also back up as fact |

On abc America just now they were saying that a majority of cases out of Texas are avg 21 year olds. I'm really terrified for my nephew and niece, they are in Washington state and its a red zone.

Just wondering if Flinders, Cape Barren, Bruny and King islands call Tasmania 'the mainland'?

Yeah there are 3 distinct areas of Tassie 1st Nth because it has the best of pretty well everything.2nd Nth West which is generally classed as Boganville.3rd Slobart which has some nice spots but is spoilt by being full of Politicians and overpaid public servants

194 new cases for Australia and 1 death so CMR drops to 1.12% and active cases rise to 1,716 (18.0%). WA and Queensland had 2 while NSW recorded 7 and the balance were in Victoria.
1 new case and no deaths for NZ so CMR is 1.426% and active cases rise to 24. The UK recorded 820 new cases and 148 deaths yesterday so the CMR rises to 15.504%. Just under 74k new cases in the USA yesterday and 849 deaths sees CMR down to 4.149% and active cases at 51.65 but the raw numbers are rising. Note that the USA is actually minus one day due to time differences. Other notable points: The USA had a 3rd consecutive day with over 60k new cases; The USA completes 41M, Australia 3M and Colombia 1M tests; Spain passes 300k cases; South America passes 100k deaths; North America records a new daily high of 83,720 cases; Lebanon (86), Libya (86), Uzbekistan (486), Kyrgyzstan (552), Bolivia (1,452), Ecuador (2,191) and the USA (73,928) recorded new daily highs, those in blue for the second consecutive day and those in red for a third or more consecutive day.

Has Scotty from Marketing gone into Witness Protection?
I just don’t see or hear anything from him, it is not as if Australia is firing on all cylinders, is there an economic restart plan? |

Doesn't want to take the focus away from the VIC Premier. Daniel Andrews is the focus ATM, and Scotty is loving it.

I don't have an issue with people taking a break, but the timing is probably not the best. Also Dan Andrews copped a bollocking for having his bday dinner with his family the other week.

If your PM, or manager, needs to baby site or the organisation 24/7 then something is very wrong. The guy is human, has a life and family and is showing that with some (perhaps loose here) social distancing its OK to get out and about if the region is open. FFS. The worst part of this virus is the amount of free time sooks have now.

Agree we don't need to be "baby sat" 24/7, but can you imagine a CEO telling a large part of his/her organisation that they need to stay home, then the CEO heads to a footy game the next day? At least wait a couple of weeks. Technically nothing wrong, but it's just not a good look. People follow leaders. Anyhow.
Anyone seen this? It is rather hilarious. I think a lot of outsiders are misreading public sentiment in Australia, particular Victoria. I was following it last night, the responses were not very tame either. https://www.news.com.au/world/north-...b9c9a74752af94 I almost think this virus is a higher being testing us. Do we value money or our lives? Are we willing to work together as a society or ? Ok thats getting a bit philosophical. Last edited by T3rminator; 13-07-2020 at 11:22 AM. |

No one could have easily foreseen the fires. Scotty was on holiday and begrudgingly came back to Australian. I don't know about you but the optics didn't look good! C19 didn't just happen, Scotty had 30-60 days advanced warning of this impending disaster and to be brutally honest he's done a **** poor part-time job. Scotty seems more interested in doing soft stuff (photo opportunities) going to the football, having a beer, holding up a shovel. If you don't believe me, check Scotty's own Twitter feed - it is mostly marketing drivel and NOTHING about C19 recovery. The part-time PM who specialises in social distancing? As it's been pointed out to me "you get paid the big bucks, do the job or **** off! |

It doesn't matter what the PM does or says, he will never please everyone. He is also just a media spokesperson. He doesn't come up with the ideas or the rules that are put in place. There is a lot of people in 'government' and a lot of 'advisors' to that government. Of course, the 'expert' that the media dredge up with a different view somehow always has more credibility. Just because the PM was seen at the footy doesn't mean he isn't doing his job.
