I've just found out that we will be heading back from Heathcote late arvo so I will not be able to make it. My name can be removed from the reserves list.

Aye

He thought it was OK to bag out another members car, and then failed to see that it was unnecessary and and uncalled for.

This was the 2nd time he has been banned on the forums, this one is for a month.

I heard a quote today. April 23rd is "Keep Melbourne Beautiful Day" All the ugly AU's will be off the road. It's the best a non au owner could come up with.

ok guys we are VERY close now and I'm about to start organising the food to feed this mass of AU fanatics and their families. By estimation based on the figures it looks like we could end up with between 150 and 200 people to feed for lunch. Therefore I'm going to "overorder" if needed and cater for 200. Thats going to be a fair chunk of cash I'm going to have to fork out up front which I dont mind HOWEVER I would like anyone who is not on the list who is starting to think they wont come to let me know now please. I dont want to cater for 200 people and have 35 cars turn up, that would be a bit painful on the hip pocket. :(

The other thing I'd like to request is that if people have a Large Esky avaliable could they throw a bag or 2 of ice in it and bring it along please. That way we can keep the drinks amd whatnot chilled. Softdrinks will be supplied (within reason) but not beer or wine etc. If you want to have a few drinks you will need to bring you own amber fluid however Id like to remind people this is a FAMILY DAY. Kids, partners etc. No drunks please, you will be asked to leave.

Finally, as you are all aware, this is a huge event and will be watched by "those with lawful power" no doubt. Any sort of illegal or stupid behaviour in cars will not be tolerated and will have reprocussions. My kids will be there, as will others, I dont want them endangered. The aufalcon.com and fordforums.com.au names will be displayed, lets not disgrace them (and I know no one would).

If we pull this off we are going to go bigger and better next year too.. this is going to be huge.

Why don't you tell people that if there name is on the list and they don't show on the day, they are still obliged to pay the $10. There has been ample time for people to withdraw, and get plans in place. Sure there might be some unforseen circumstances, but what we don't want is for you to be left holding the bag. The money is coming out of your pocket, and its a sizeable amount. Anyway, worth a consideration. We do it with our club. the list on the forums is your commitment you will be there. As tickets are purchased by the club in advance, race events are not cheap. The club does not want to be left paying out for stuff where the money could be better put to use rather than just wasting it. It's fairly simple

Im sure I can knock back about 5 to 10 snags if need be.... I will make sure I skip breakfast....lol

Im not sure if this is a concern and this may be a stupid question but how will you know who is with the AU Falcon group for the food/drinks and not just riff raff of the park trying to get a free feed...

I know there was talk of name tags which will help but, How a bout some sort of hand stamp.

Read my mind Kev. Everyone in the cars that pay will get a hand stamp on the day. That is proof of "allowance of foodage" :

Falkeen would be better suited that job. He is fresh out of his teenage years. He can relate.

I think the kids would reject me based on the amount of rice on my car.
