The overall package looks good. You'll never get 13k for it, you never get money back on mods, so don't bother selling.
haha yeh i shuold take the badges off but meh i like them on even tho it aint a tickford lol. im thinkin of getttin new deep sish chromies or some FPV 19" typhoons. the car looks sooooooo without the wing anyway cos i left it off for a few days till it got painted.

Why spend the extra $$ if you are wanting a BA? unless you swap the rims over that is...

Go the manual and don't sell it. It looks like a nice car with a few mods you'll have a quick car in your hands in no time.

Why would you want a BAFXR6 ? no major upgrade imo and lose more $$ again.....
I'm with others, rid of the tail lights, she's no real T take the badges off and the blingbling wheels otherwise have fun ! at least you arn't with the rest of the sheep P platers. T3 kit suits the AU shape perfect.

Looks good mate...

IMO don't sell it, you've spent too much cash on it to get it to this stage, hang onto it.

I wouldn't bet on it, I got 13500 TRADE for my AUII on my BF XR6, it had TS50 kit, 18's etc etc (read my sig) and was the same colour (monsoon blue) but it did only have 115000 klms on it and was in mint condition. That was a trade in thru Ford and if regretfully I pushed them a bit more over changeover etc I probly would have got more out of them.

Some dealers (especially Gold Coast ones) are starting to realise they can offer ridiculous prices on modded cars these days (my AU sold for nearly 15000) because most younguns would rather get everything at once then have to do it all themselves.

i think your dealer based his tradein price solely on your km's. if you have a look around you can find a lot of dealers selling AUII's and III's for still close to and above $11K because of km's around the 100k mark.

People are selling BA XR6's for that sort of coin... and with less than 150,000kms on it...

I've seen a ts50 front bar on an ED (less the grille), it was unpainted and held in place with half a dozen 12mm gal bolts, looked like crap but the shape suited it well. In my opinion it would have looked great if and when it was finished.

For me (and most likely the same for most others) i just think the clear/chrome altezza type lights are tacky.. they look real rice and dont really suit the ol' falcons IMO

naah, they told it was only cos of the mods, and the fact that what i had done didnt make the car look "unstandard" was the term they used lol, but the kays would have been part of it too

Oh dear! Another non-Tickford car that's got bits raided from the ever decreasing Tickford spare parts bin, that the rest of us genuine Tickford skippers have to fight over lol. Ah well, each unto their own, out of my hands just like the weather.

I'd suggest hang onto it. You've done too much to it to give it away for a pittance.

I might suggest with your exhaust tips - go for a squarish shape with the twin outlets offset to follow the lines of the rear bar and the edges of the tips rolled/tapered in.

Both look tacky - I think you should get some fairmont / series 2 taillights and a good set of 5 spoke rims.

I agree with TwistedEL but if you like the taillights keep them but get rid of the Transformer/Autobot rims, they belong on Silvia/Rex/Lancer, Oh yer the exhaust tips are again getting with the above, OTT but man it's your wheels and at least you are in a Ford, imatation is flattery and you'd get more looks instead of having a BSeries LOL....
