Growing up my old man had a XC Fairmont GXL 351 that was the sweetest sounding car I have ever heard, nothing I have heard since even comes close, was supposed to be mine, but some piece of **** stole it and burnt it, broke Dad's heart, and mine.

That's where I got the love of Fords that note on that 351, awesome :evilsasmo :evilsasmo

Folks have a VXII Commodore so I don't really want to drive it. If we all go somewhere as a family we all pile into the XR, such a better car.

My mums car is B2TF's old LR Focus, and I love driving that, almost as much as she does. 17s, bodykit, exhaust.

She passed her licence over 15 years ago but was not comfortable driving any car until the Focus.

Dad drives a BF XT wagon E-gas company car - I like driving it because it's new and his work pays the fuel bill
Mum owns a VSII Berlina, which was my previous car so it's lowered and has 18s - I resort to driving this if there is something wrong with my car, or I'm being a tightarse :P

So yeah, I'd offer to drive it for them if we're out as a "family".

i hate both my parents cars. dads got an '89 mazda 323, 1.5l carby auto. sadly my dad doesnt give a flying you-know-what about cars. and mums got an '04 camry altise. 2.2L auto. the camry is wider and longer than my ED falcon with a little over half the engine and a slushbox. its godawful. at least you can have fun with the handbrake in dads car. im sure the camry has some doo-dad built in that wont let me lock the rear wheels with the handbrake while im moving. prolly ABS or something terrible.

Ok this is not my folks cars they are bronzewinezd folks cars.

(I cant log out for him to log in on his username, computer is stoopid)

So here he is! -

EF falcon - not too bad, like driving it, goes hard lol

1926 Chrysler - great to drive if you dont mind the sound of crunching gears.

1938 Austin - Dont mind driving it, mainly because it gets attention. Other than that its really uncomfortable, and you usually end up with a really sore leg for the next week from the clutch.

1977 Jaguar XJ6 - very nice to drive, I've driven it ONCE. Mum got it for xmas last year and before she knew dad had bought it for her, i took it for a spin around the block. Once the keys were handed over to her she hasnt gotten out of the damned thing.

1948 Oldsmobile - love driving this, its classy and comfortable.

1977 Oldsmobile Toronado - my favourite car of theirs to drive, love it! Its so easy to drive, so comfortable to drive. It just glides. And the attention it gets is great! Only thing i dont like is as your cruisin along you can see the fuel guage getting lower and lower... all worth it though!

Like Bob 351, I'm the parent and both my son's prefer my BA XR8. One has a BA wagon and the other my old VTII Berlina SC V6.

Neither of their cars interest me except the wagon with tow bar does come in handy at times so never an arguement to swap cars for the day.

The free loaders drive my cars because they cant afford to buy their own.

Kids are such a pain in the but when they start to drive I am sure they think petrol is free, tyres never wear out and maintenace free. :

One car they wont be driving is my XR6 Turbo Ute when it arrives...

My mum drives a Nissan NX, I really like it. It's an SR20DE so it's got lots of torque and it's a very comfortable ride.

Dad has a '93 Toyota Hiace Diesel, it's a work car, there's nothing to like about it. Even dad hates the thing!

Dads got a BA XT with factory bodykit and mags as a company car (until Feb 07 when he chooses a new one) and mum has an 86 Pintara with a 2L and auto which I am just about to throw the P plates on while my car is in the panel beaters.
I enjoy driving both cars, just a bit different, but love driving my car more, mmm LSD..

I'll only drive my parents car if mine isn't working. The downgrade from the AU to an ML270 or a 323i isn't worth it.

Other way round for me. Parents drive my car!. Old man is a true blue V8 guy and since his ZD isnt on the road he takes regular drives in my car.

Some mornings i wake up to find that my car is missing from the driveway. Then all of a sudden i hear a roar coming down the street and wouldnt you know it, its the old man revving the crap out of my car!. We have at the momement a 2005 pajero and and a 2001 au forte so theres really no reason for me to drive there cars. Also i feel weird driving somebody elses car? its just because i have become adjusted to my car, so when i sit in another (especially the pajero) it feels awkward!.
