I was thinking the same thing. Has anyone grafted a FG front end onto a Mustang rear?

In future, if these cars share platforms and engines, how hard would it be to produce I wonder?

Then again, I don't mind the mustang as it is. Would be cheaper to engineer it for RHD and sell it here as is.

This would be the dreamtech pty coupe then?

I emailed them about it yesterday my time asking if they knew of any forsale as its going to be a pian for me to import brandnew, and they are willing to sell the 2 they have. The blue XR8 on there site and a supercharged rapid yellow one.

Blue is the demo as he called it. Blueprint XR8 manual with 19" rims, lowered etc. it has 17,200 km's on it.

and the second is a Rapid Yellow XR8 manual, supercharged (400kw), Brembo
brakes, 20" wheels, DJR body kit, custom black with yellow leather interior,
big sound system with 18" sub, extractors, twin 3" exhaust system. It has
5,700 km's on it.

Cool Importing a Ford coupe

With regards to import rules in the UK
couldnt you just find a country in Europe with easier import rules
and then drive it home and register it
just a thought

I wish it was that easy.

Because I havent live in Oz for a year and owned it for 6 months its harder and as the car is under 10 years old it has to go through an ESVA testing procedure even if i drove it home.

The shipping part is easy but the Uk registration is alot harder now especially on RHD imports.

Holden guys are having problems getting them registered here now to.

Its simple to get left hand drive registered via the same process but quicker.

For some reason they want to make it difficult on RHD.

Even if we don't get an FG coupe, having that front end design on the FG update (FPV's?) would be awesome. It just screams "get the hell out of my way"

That being said, its ugly as hell too.

Looks cool BUT

I think it's been said before on the forum, but that is a pretty blatant 3-series BMW rip-off.
