Chryslers were such tough cars in the 60's & 70's. I read about making the movie bullitt that the Dodge Charger out performed the 68 Mustang that Steve McQeen drove in the tests on the movie set.

I remember reading a story about that, they had to add a cam, holley carb and a few other things to the 390GT Mustang so it could keep up with the Charger.
