Ford did not think that the <30,000km my 6/4 Brembos had done was unusual.
Problem is that the crappy brembo rotors also need replacing. If Fraud did the work it would be about $2k. I find it unacceptable for a road car to only get 30,000km out of a set of pads and rotors.

What a lot of miss information. There is no set period for brake pad life. Regular maintenance of the vehicle and checking pad ware when servicing will tell you when they need changing.
Driving style alone determines how long the pads last.
My wife (not an aggressive driver) can go through a set of brake pads on a falcon in 40K or less.

Word of advice Leesa , you should replace brake pads when they are half worn as they do not dissipate heat as well at this level or after it . Much cheaper than repairing the front of the car .

I got 90000km out of the pads on my BA and never touched the rotors in the the 120000+km I had it. It never had any brake shudder either.

I had to change pads and rotors (rotors because of shudder) on the BF at 45000km and now at 70000km I think I will need to either machine or replace rotors again because of shudder.

Have had a set of pagids last 6 days till they were down to the metal. On the other hand my mum's car has done 150,000 on the original pad and rotor and there is still heaps of meat left.
