If they caught him up the road, why is the tow truck stopped in the carpark?

: the shopping centre only covers a couple of town blocks, pretty hard to spot. :

he was lucky to find the space in that car park, when ever i went there you were lucky to find somewhere to park.

this is what i was thinking also. maybe QIK006 can confirm if the lines in the pic are actually the result of the ute in question, or if they towed it back there to make a nice pic for the media.

definatley from the ute in question, and they took it back for the photo's.
I have had a look at the photos that HE went back and took, and the bits in the one loop in the photo is only one of many.... he would have been going for long enough that the cops could have strolled out, walked back in the station, grabbed the keys and walked back out, to watch him finish off and drive up the street.

I love my cars, but I hate looking at the black tyre marks on the roads around my house it looks so grubby, in an otherwise nice suburb.

PS; just because a matter is a traffic matter, it is still technically breaking a law = criminal

I noticed the newspaper didnt mention that it was a Holden. If it wer e a Ford they would say it 3 times per sentence.

I must admit I do silly things when I am ****ed off or stressed out

The guy is a tool and a moron but I fail to see how he is a Criminal as pointed out in the article by the police. They need to read up on traffic infringement law.

I share your sentiment here.

People won't be happy until every wild streak or rough ede has been forcefully deleted from every citizen.

He's been pretty silly, and he's a bit wild, but he's not a criminal.

I sit next to a lawyer at work - this was her lawyeristic responce to the article:

There are offences in the Crimes Act 1900 which include things like negligent driving etc, which is what you get charged with when you commit serious traffic offences. However, not all traffic fines result in a ‘criminal’ conviction, so no, you can’t be called a criminal just for a traffic offence.. BUT, SOME people who speed are criminals, the actual ‘crime’ isn’t speeding, its neg driving, or reckless driving, or vehicular manslaughter .. etc. Traffic fines are regulated under the Fine Acts ? and are a civil penalty. So, people who go say 10km over, aren’t criminals, unless the cops charge them and they are convicted of a criminal driving offence. Drink driving however is different and is criminal.

According to Senior Sergeant Ray Hoelscher of Maroochydore police, it was personified yesterday in the form of a 32 year old man who allegedly did burn outs in his hotted up ute directly in front of the police station.

I dont know why they have said it is hotted up though, it is a bog standard V8 SS

If the car is not "hotted up" then it can't be a hoon's car, so they wouldn't have been doing burnouts. Duh.

One day someone will tell the Police/media why we all laugh at them, but for now its just funny to watch them make fools of themselves. Its like watching your mate try to undo a bolt by turning it the wrong way. You do tell him, but only after you're done laughing.

Nothing wrong with Holdens, but what about the Dumbturds who Commodores are forced to cart around! Crush the driver, release the car!

Settle with those comments. It's not just Holden drivers that do that sort of stupid thing. I've seen Ford drivers do the same sorts of things. But I don't group them altogether like that.

Maybe he was looking for the shopping centre so he could get glasses He obviously needs them.

Hope he learns his lesson
