Things every woman should have:
top of the list should be a partner that makes them happy.

Things every guy should have:
see above.

Thankfully, I have a partner that makes me happy, and I hope I make her happy, at least most of the time. *Waves to LuvinmyEB*

No problem, although I'm sure most of the guys who read my post will think "what a suck", but hey, it's true IMO, everyone needs to be happy, everything else is just bonus gravy. :

Of course you make me happy Troy. :

If anyone calls you a suck, then they need to have a good look at themselves and their relationships (if they have one). How many other guys would get up first thing in the morning and start making a casserole in the stock pot so that their fiancee's would have a nice hot hearty meal that night for dinner?

How many of you buy things "just because" to surprise your girlfriends/ partners/wives?

How many of you would stick around when your partner gets sick and teach her how to deal with everything that comes with it? Then when she feels like she can't take anymore let her sob (and I mean literally sob) on their shoulders?

I don't think 90% of the guys on the forum would have stuck around with all the stuff that has happened to us in the past 4.5 years, in fact they would have headed for the hills in the first year.

Yes, I realize that the majority of guys are trying to get the girls to take the bait so to speak, but really sit back and have a look at your relationships, both past and present and have a good think about them. Is there anything you could do to improve them?

My bet is that there is a hell of a lot more you could do.

Thanks mate, I do try, I think the bottom line is, if you really appreciate and value having a partner (be they girlfriend/fiancée/wife/whatever...) then you will do things to make them happy, and they will do things in return to make you smile.

Hahaha, I doubt it, maybe if that mould was of Brad Pitt or some other male that some women seem to drool at the sight of, not one of some bald guy who looks like me, LOL!

We've been through a fair bit of crap together already in the time we've been together, ups and downs, the only real difference between us and a married couple is the lack of a piece of paper saying we're man and wife...
