Sure... Alps. 'cause he looks just like one of those snow capped mountain pictures you see in a post card shop.

Mrs Casper, I don't know of any near you sorry. I have heard Sea Mist is good, and have been to another one in Anglesea which was ok. One of my friends owns one in Lara, 10 mins from you, but she does lessons on school horses, not trail rides I don't think. If you'd like her details, PM me.

ahhh a colt... how much fun are they!!

ive got three, Slapper (affectinate name for the old brood mare ) is the old mare and her two (what were) foals Sway (4yr old mare quarter x standard bred) and Gilbert! Gilbert got his name from Whats eating Gilbert Grape! now called monster cause thats what fun he brought as a colt!!

enjoy the fun!! i know i am!

let them name themselves, my young two have had many names before the one that suited each stuck, and believe me, Gilbert couldnt have any other name (apart from monster!) he just is GILBERT!

Hehehehehehee Formerly ... I have decided to keep all the names in memory & then see how he goes. Just under a week now & I should have them here at home & then his name will come forth Im sure ....... most likely pr1ck or somesuch :P

I am looking forward to starting to handle a 2yr old whos never had a human touch him before though. They asked if I wanted to be there for the gelding part ..... I opted out .... not cause of the blood & stuff ..... but so he sees me as the only human to love him & not hurt him ...........
