Well I'll say a tentative yes at this point. I'll take a random stab in the dark and say 16.2xx ET. Anyone know what a tired stock AU with an auto and with mild intake and exhaust mods does on the quarter?

Yeah I was talking to a mate at work, either $50 on ebay, or he reckons anywhere that sells cheap motos and motorcycle gear should sell something nice and cheap.

Also, as far as clothing goes, I have an ex Airforce Jumpsuit, would that satisfy the marshals? Or does it have to be long pants and long shirt?

That would be good, I'll put my spare wheel/jack and toolbox etc in there. Means I can still bring them, but I dont have to race with them.

Id leave the good tyres on. You want traction, and bald street tyres offer none. You dont do big burnouts on street tyres either, so leave them on, it will go better with the good tyres.

Yeah I wouldnt be using bald tyres for racing. Unless you can find some slicks/semi slicks I wouldnt swap out my street tyres for anything.

Monty, the 2 spare mags, have like 99. percent tread on them, just slight were on the inside due from cambering issues

Thats all good then, just the better the tyre, the better the grip. A lot of people run bald tyres thinking they are slicks, but slicks are a different compound and are made to do what the do, street tyres arent meant to be run bald. Id hate to see what hapens when it lets go at 150 clicks in the deep end.

after a run or 2 you're road tires will be up to temp.
most people recommend a single burnout before you're first run.

On street tyres, not really. A little one if you accidently manage to roll through the water to get your tyres dry is enough.

I'm probably out :( In the next 2 weeks, I need to: pay rego, get 2 new rears, get a new LHR Caliper, change my sump and fit a new nut to the high pressure line on the PS Pump.
