A Little Bit Sideways, Coup de Grace - Ford UK commisioned films celebrating a decade of RAC Rally dominance and winning the WRC & Manufacturers Championship. Seeing Hannu Mikkola and Bjorn Waldegard demonstrating syncronised drifting with two Group 4 RS1800s in the snow is worth a youtube search on its own.

Not exactly a car movie, but Dazed and Confused has plenty of American muscle from Chevelles SS's to GTO.

Why has no-one said The Gumball Rally?!?!

I had it as a kid on VHS and watched the whole thing that many times, that the tape broke. Even my first DVD of it, is burnt from being in crappy players for so long.

The sound of that Cobra 427, the Ferrari 365...... the Mercedes SL........

Cinematic Poetry IMHO, the likes of which we will never see again.

I also rate Ari Vatenens Climb Dance. My dad taped it off channel 9's Wide World of Sports for me as a kid.... I'll never forget the lead up to that being taped, Someone had written in, and they advised the viewers that the next week the Climb Dance would be on. And for the whole week, I kept asking what it was, my old man would just smile and say wait until you see it. 4 minutes 57 seconds of a screaming Peugeot and very little else. Just unreal. hats off to that man!

Not a movie but any one here old enough to remember the Auto Cat and Motor Mouse cartoon. Auto cat used to come up with some pretty wild blown v8 mouse catchers.

One of my favourites right now is Hit & Run with Dax Shepard (Idiocracy)

He did all the stunt driving himself... probably because he didn't want someone else accidentally crashing his baby (67 Lincoln Continental with a 514ci Ford Racing V8)

Attachment 76042

Great soundtrack too !!

This is pure unadulterated automotive audio pornograpy , a BDA at full noise . You have not lived until youv'e frozen your nuts off in a dark forest at night and heard one of these things coming from kilometres away .

Cannon Ball Run
Bullit has a great car chase, same as Ronin
Christine. Would love to own that car.
Running on Empty, good in an embarrassing 80s way.

Yeti,I just rewatched American Graffiti a few month ago. I still enjoyed it.
