EL GT was a highlight, all that alcantara, leather and woodgrain. The TS50 interiors were quite nice too.

Any interior which someone hasn't decided that some color from a spray can would look cool!

The Blue interior from the ZF Fairlane.

Now, if 'Elks' would just post a picture of his lovely example...

Definitely the XA/XB style dash, have loved that look since I was a kid. That was one of the things that attracted me to my ZG.

My old DA2 LTD had the best interior of all my cars, the electronic speedo, the plush blue velour seats, electric everything. It's the most comfortable car I've ever travelled in, all due to that amazing interior. I also love the look of the early E-series dashes.

Probably the coolest interior of a car I've personally travelled in was an XY GT, with its all black interior and no headrests on the seats, to me they're as tough on the inside as they are on the outside.

GTE interior looks great...the only downside being the hoodlining done in a contrasting colour......if they had gone all out (like they did back in the day) your headlining and pillar trims would have been charcoal. Saw a G6ET that had been done and it looked great!

I have to say the VH SL/E was brilliant back in the day, but times move on and I reckon the memory of how good I thought it was back in the day would be spoilt if I got one now. But the colour variety available in the old stuff was awesome.....now if you are lucky you get a choice of two colour themes, and that's it.........but I love my mod cons, colour screens and reversing cameras and damn good climate control, so.....

Current GTE/F6E gets my vote.

For me, my XR50 dash is definitely the best. The old car dashes are just that, old IMO. They look dated. I prefer the modern look.

Man.... can't go past the Xw - Xy Gt/Gs dash sitting in those bucket seats over looking a shaker = Tough as. I have a Bf Fpv as much as I love the dash and intrerior the old school wins hands down IMO.

XR GT , it was so advanced for it's day and there were so few of them and a real sticker was the Hurst shifter with the reverse lockout lever - XW GT was to die for when it was released .

Couldn't agree more re: hood lining , an insult really on a hi spec car, currently looking at getting mine redone in a more compatible colour/material ( along with another AFF member in Briz )...Alcantara would be nice but prob too exy, will see.....
Don't like the plastic wood in the "E's", Piano Black is much classier..

For it's time ('85) VK Calais was out there, digital dash, velour, real carpet...loved mine....unlike today, back then there was no mistaking a Calais interior for a lower spec model ( unlike today's generic interiors )...
