Nope. I've never owned a flannie, don't like jeans and prefer imported beer. I do like a lot of Aussie music however I have a vast variety in music.

Used to be years ago but no more. Hell I even worked at the Holden’s plant to save for my first car (a Ford..lol) after school. Had the mullet, flannel shirts, black t-shirts with Ford transfers ("Old Fords never die" etc. on them..lol), wore tight jeans etc. Then there was all the KISS and VanHalen music, bit of white snake, AC/DC, Queen, Metallica.. and drove like I had a death-wish.:togo:

Alot has changed since then..lol, I now run a successful company, deal with corporate business, don't drink or smoke and I'm quite fitness conscious. Hell, I'm actually quite responsible most of the time..hehe, but my partner still thinks I am a Bogan at heart...and I still drive a Ford. ;)

B for me. I am a wannabe bogan but don't have the looks. Unless you know me you would think I am a clean shaven nice young lad. I like pie's, beer, v8's and have car parts in the house.

14 - The last book you read was:

a. Anything by Chopper, he's a legend.
b. Anything by Stephen King, he's brilliant.
c. Anything by Irvine Welsh/Will Self, they're wonderful.

Will Self? Wonderful? That's an odd statement.

I appear to be bogan-ish.

Definitley not a bogan. I like Fords, but then, I'm not into bogan activities... and I prefer new cars that look nice, subtle, sexy and classy to old cars...

I'm actually a bit of a snob. I've got the whole snob act down, I just don't have the wealth to go with it. :(

I sort of got an even mixture of as, bs and cs.... :S

I grew up in a middle class suburb, but I listened to all the 80s bogan music - metallica, Van Halen etc etc... Had a lot of chic mates that I did chic things with (ie shopping etc) but had a lot of bloke mates that I did bloke stuff with (driving, burnouts in school car park - was suspended for that, blowing stuff up).... I used to hang with my Dad and work on cars when I was a kid... Mostly Fords, various Cortys and a Jag or two for racing at Mallala.

Used to work as a nurse (back then, most nurses were bogans), now work as a laywer.... dont live in outer scumbag suburbs, but dont live inner suburbs either, we live in the country.

Have always driven Fords, grew up with them and always will.

Love cricket, footy (AFL - Crows) and the V8s...

Smoked from age 15 until recently, Longbeach 4s and Benson & Hedges. Went through a Horizon phase when I was a nurse.

Dont drink beer but love Vodka or anything with Vodka in it. Dont go much for chics drinks, except for perhaps the odd Vodka Cruiser. Dont like liquers and stuff like that. And if I drink, I like to do it with my mates when having a BBQ, or at a good pub - not into nightclubs and the doof doof crap. I dont drink wine with dinner.

Oh and I go on cruises and I race at the drags.

I swear a lot, dont speak nicely and Im loud.

I own 6 different coloured pairs of Doc Martens, and I love jeans - I wear them to work! I have even worn my Ford gear to work when Ford had a good win in the V8s over the previous weekend...

I love jewellery and stuff like that, but I dont have much because I love my car more and spend the money on that...

I read a lot - Wilbur Smith, Frank Herbert, Wheels and Motor...

I love pies, but only really good ones. Love a good BBQ, good Italian and a good curry, but dont like sushi and stuff like that. Love ice coffee too (bogan juice in Adelaide).

Bogan? Hmmmm Im not really sure...

Edit: my partner is a bogan though!!!

Id consider myself as a metro-bogan

Basically I am as blunt as they come, smoke, drink etc etc but I can also dress up, spike my hair up and go out to the clubs.

I used to work with a group of people who all drove imported cars. They called me a bogan because I drove an Australian car. It was always good when my family sedan would pull a car length on their ricers. ;)

Metro-Bogan ????? That's a new one.....I like that.

Does that mean after a hard night on the tinnies you would kill for a decent latte and some sourdough toast to cope with the hangover the next morning?

King Oath Mate. I would class my self as a bogan of the 21st century. My first car was a 85 Magna. But I boganed it up with dents, rust, scratches and cheap alloys. Next was a Ute. Need i say more. My beer gut is unrivalled for greatness by my mates. I drink beer and lots of it. I would prefer a XW over a BA. I prefer rock music and a good barbie over a Night club with R & B.

I get angry when the word bogan is used in a derogatory fashion. Most Bogans are easy going good blokes. just a minority of dumb ИИИИs.

Yeh, I drive a V8 Falc, so what do you reckon...........

Well that's what most of my friends reckon anyway !

I think not, just because I love my car, and the speed it sometimes produces, does not mean I'm a bogan.

I dress well, eat well, don't smoke, hardly drink, have a good paying job / career, and live in a nice area. So surely this makes me only 1/2 a bogan. I'll live with that .

Im semi Bogan, i have bogan tendancies

Dont smoke, but drink Beer and Bourbon only (XXXX and Woodstock)
Have a significant quantity of Flannel Shirts
Have been guily of listening to AC/DC or old skool Midnight Oil with windows wound down whilst hooning down country roads with a car full of 'bogan' mates
Have a semi beer gut
Would prefer a good Meat Pie, a Sausage Roll and a Farmers Union Iced Coffee to any fancy restaurant
Have a deep down desire to own a ZH Fairlane and an old Landrover/Landcruiser (for Bushpashing)
Like X series Falcons
Think Panelvans and Wagons are cool
Perfer the large towns to the city and think yuppies are generally oxygen thieves and yuppies/cafe culture is seriously wrong
Acually watch Test match cricket and enjoy evey second of it
Eat Red Meat atlest 3 times a week

-Thats about the end of it though otherwise im 'normal' I suppose, i dont really feel like going to gaol or growing a mullet

*Got mostly A and Bs on the Bogan Questionnarie

Had a mullet when i was 14.
Don't have any objects hanging inside my car as i think it's a pain and gets in the drivers way.
I drive a VP Commodore. Don't like VK's.
Don't know Shazza bazza or shagga:P.
Love sports AFL NRL ARU Basketball Cricket.
Think smokes in the T-Shirt sleeve is py:

Without checking all those user locations, I would be correct to say that most here would come from the southern states? The term bogan really doesn't relate to people where I come from.

The first time I heard 'bogan', the closest resemblance to anything where I grew up at was a 'westy'. Westies always wore grey itchy woolen potato sack type shirts, black beanies, 'Cessnock sunnies'(cheap black sunnies), black denim stockings and a hatred for surfers or those who went to the beach.

I guess I have a bit of bogan in me(by southern interpretation). I used to listen to motley crue, g-n-r, that mob who sang "sweet little sister, monkey business etc, and I wore a flanno shirt(nice flanno, not the itchy grey ones) wore dunlop vollies etc...
