And you think people at car shows arent just a little bored with looking at the same model car over and over and over?????

Its all very well and good to have a pristine XB coupe, (and yes id love to have one)... but once the public has seen one, they have seen them all.

I have a replica XB madmax car (yellow one)... and the average public swamps the car moreso then then any other standard looking XB.
Same can be said of race car replicas like the Greens Tuff... or a replica Moffet XB coupe race car... it draws the crowds in because the average non-car type person sees it as something different.

Like the panel van craze... bring one to a car show and people are drawn to it.

There are some guys in WA who made a replica of the Tumbler. Coincidentally, they are the same guys who are well known for making Mad Max replicas, too.

Seeing how rare it is to find a coupe at a car show then no, I don't get sick of seeing them, even if there are 10 of them. Mad Max replica's I can take or leave. Seen one you've seen them all........

Small place like where i live there is usually up to 5/6 coupes at any car show...
More show up at places like Charters Towers or Cairns...

Id hardly call it rare.. and we are in northern qld.

I look at it from a crowds point of view...

Again i think some are missing the point... I am talking about the general public... those who arent "car enthusiasts".

There are more replicas here in Australia now then there was 10yrs ago.
Not to mention just how many there are now overseas in countries like the USA, Japan, UK, Austria, New Zealand,Canada all of which draw in a lot of the crowds simply because the cars are some of the most recognised movie cars around.

The same thing could be said for the Dukes of Hazzards where there is litteraly 100s of replica General Lees' and Roscoes sherrif car.... it draws the crowds in because the average non-car type person can relate to it a bit more as they have seen it on tv.
