What about Mt. Tamborine, i know alot of people have probably already been up there heaps but its the only thing i can think of that is close/ish for everyone...

Sounds good to me. Do you want to do the cruise sheet? For the BBQ I think it would be better that everyone brings their own, just incase a few have to pull out then no one is stuck with the bill, that is just my thought.

I am willing to make potato salad and a green salad for the BBQ.

Are we going to make the run on the Sat or Sun?

Ummm, sure i can do a cruise sheet, what does everyone want on it?! Well im good for sat or sun, but some people work saturdays and stuff so maybe sunday will be better?? Cant wait for this to happen, will be great to meet some fellow AU enthusiasts...

I think a Sunday run would be better, just do a basic run sheet so everyone can see where we are planning on going, and a few directions would be good just in case someone gets lost, i assume that most of us have UHF's so that should make life a bit easier.
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with

Ok well, i will do a run up there sometime before the 30th (hopefully this weekend) and organise a cruise sheet for everyone. Also do any brissy/sunny coast people want to meet up before and cruise there together and maybe meet with everyone else at yatala bp then cruise up the mountain?! Oh and im happy to do it on sunday the 31st if everyone else is...

how does it feel to not know where all the places are , i was the same a year ago when i moved here from Gordon ACT
Saturday or Sunday is good for me and the 30th or 31st seem to be the perfect dates .
mt tambo is a nice drive this could be just one of the stops
then go to spingbrook national park lookout
maybe stop at hinze dam in the middle then head back via hiway , i dont know where to meet start or finish but the roads are hilly and windy and thin but fun

Ok so i went for a drive up mt tamborine on sunday and damn were there some people up there, lol... Anyway, it isnt a very long drive (the way i went) so i figured if we cruise up there, then stop and chill, have a bbq for quite a while give everyone a chance to mingle and then head off again down the other side and then maybe cruise to the spit at around 2:30-3ish and hang out down there for the rest of the afternoon, check out the rest of the people cruising, take some pictures, chat and just relax really... But thats just what i came up with, sorry it took so long for me to post it...

you should of driven to springbrook from mt tambo they say its a hell of a drive .

Hey guys, sorry i have just returned back from cold canberra. We are still interested in the cruise, we can still go with it tomorrow if people are still keen or move it to next weeekend?

Au owner now ay nudge.... We are gonna go up mt tambo prolly, i think we should move it, but next weekend is my 21st so maybe we should do it the weekend after maybe... plus we will have more of an opportunity to organise a bit more...

yep lets move the date, we will not be able to attend the weekend of the 14 as we are in sydney for oran park, however you guys can still do it that weekend if good for everyone else. otherwise what about the 21st?
