Well its been 6 days, and the car is still running like a dog down low, it still idles rough, and almost stalled a couple of times on me(In situations when i needed speed damn fast before oncomming traffic creamed me) so the cycle of pain starts again, im going to take it back to Road and Track for more diagnosis.

damn man, thats the last thing you want when you've just had all that work done on your car....you'd want it to be smooth (hard) driving!

hope it all gets sorted out

Trust me I will if it doesnt get sorted. I emailed lachlan before about how impressed i was with the gains fromt he chip, the cam however has not done wonders.

Did my mileage today, for city driving, 18l/100km. not happy jan. $150 in fuel in 6 days.

And no the springs didnt get changed, car only had 75,000 on the clock, and as its only a stage3 cam, hardly a radical cam requiring new kit i would think.

considering a gt-p's average fuel consumption is supposed to be 15.1l/100km i think we can do better lol.

I think i fixed the problem. This morning I found the brass clamp that holds the throttle cable is loose, was moving a good 20 degrees before it opened the butterfly on the TB. Clamped it down, and noticed an immediate improvement in response. ECU has started paying attention and mileage is dropping.

Yup I think this was definately the problem, mileage has dropped to 13.1l/100k on a mix of city and highway driving, ecu is definately now getting a clue and power is increasing, i might have it dynod again now :P
