Yeh I'd never buy a Falcon where the clutch cacked itself after a short time. Well one or maybe two of them but not a third one.........

I remember seeing a new Ferrari go home on the back of a truck from my gun club a couple of years ago. It was just after the owner (real estate spiv) was demonstrating how quick it was off the mark and how much better it was than my F6 and others' HSVs, AMGs, BMWs and Jag.

It was a good laugh but it didn't mean that anyone except the club bogans thought that ferrari was crap.

You know what, I'm not going to bother with this. The GTR is not a crappy car by any stretch of the imagination, but I truly believe that anything claimed by Nissan should be taken with a grain of salt.
Mate, I basically just said the exact same thing! Read my post - Who cares what time Nissan did or Porsche can't do or whatever, ring times are a moot point.

Or 200km/h to 0 time?
How about lap time on any circuit track?

Some tracks and almost ALL roads have corners.

The ONLY Australian made motor vehicles that are remotely worthy of being mentioned in the same sentence and the GT3, GTR etc are the Joss, Elfin or some of the other esoterics.

Ford and Holden make very good sports saloons but they have about as much in common with the GT3/GTR as they do with a Kenworth or Toyota Landcruiser.

As far as the "Nissan fibbing" is concerned. They either are or are not. Time will tell and no amout of "expert opinion" from forum members, most of whom have never even seen a GTR or GT3 let alone driven one and the only Northern Ring experince thaey have is from Playstation will make any difference.

Personally, I was going to buy a GTR next year, now I am not so sure but rather than jump on a bandwagon of "anti-everything" moaners I will sit back and watch.

After all, BOSS 290s eat oil, F6s blow up clutches, ION 4 speeds fry, Dana diffs fry, Brembos go bezerk on utes, LS1s eat oil, LS1s blow up........

Oh hang on, all those problems were sorted after a short time weren't they?
Flappist get out of this thread with your balanced unbiased commentary it has no place here!!!
