Then the second commandment is tho shall be Politically Correct, or is that the other way around ? I don't know I don't work for the government, so I do not have this bashed into me 24/7 like Hitler did with his Political Correctness and no German could question him at all, I remember that was a fact. Some people can get away with anything and someone like Trump can be attacked and slandered 24/7 and totally taken out of context and all is fine, because he is not of the Socialist Marxist ilk, but that's how Communist dictators all roll. you never speak down to one of them gods. Such people are free to kill millions and get away with it as history proves. Nowadays you can't even debate that or some one comes the heavy with ya. |

interesting Video doing the rounds on FB.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNsl...ature=emb_logo While it could be staged, it backs up what multiple doctors have spoken out about in the USA in regards to the inaccuracy of the statistics being reported. |

He actually declared an emergency within 10 days of the first case and testing began in two weeks. Why let facts blur the word of Trump. It's a tactic called "whataboutism" predominantly used by the Russians to divert attention from their actions and misdeeds by pointing at others and saying they were doing it first or something worse. Sort of like a primary school child blaming someone else when they get caught, a self defence mechanism for the weak if you will.

I’d probably trust the nightly news than doctors directly involved in the system myself..

Interesting woman on the Channel 7 News just now.." If we aren't free we may as well be dead " commenting on the rallies going on in different places in the good ol USA about relaxing the restrictions ..Not much social distancing happening there by the looks of it .
Sums up the dogs breakfast handling there pretty well.. At least we're pretty united here . Not always super happy about some stuff but largely sticking it out . |

Massive underestimates in the USA of actual infections due to low testing levels. When they reopen the states and send people back to work we’ll see a second wave. This is why Australia and New Zealand will have to isolate from the rest of the world for years to come. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

How does that 2nd Amendment go again ? A well armed militia........ Saying that the test rate is 20% and to get a proper idea you need around double that . Trump said that America was doing great and said doing better than just about everybody else with the possible exception of Germany and he couldn't even leave it there .. Added , better than Germany . He must've been looking at a whole lot different figures than the rest of us .. |

It will incite the people here who already confuse what country they live in.
Time for the Government to take a more proactive role in curating media content. |

For the size of Texas, around 30 million their numbers aren't bad compared to Euro countries and more liberal US states. Much like WA with the eastern states, why should tx be under lockdown... Lockdown because North East numbers have exploded as the NY mayor and governor (to spite Trumps Chinese travel ban) were telling people to go out and hug a Chinese for the New Year parade in February. Which raises the question like a previous poster alluded to, is it possible for the US to downplay deaths or cases? Is it possible at all considering four out of the top five affect states are democrat, with a vendetta against the president. Or could that be flipped upside down to suggest these states are over inflating the figures to make him look bad, feed the media, or potentially pull more funding from federal health budgets and so on. You have to ask why the media are so focused on the US, and a bunch of cash strapped red necks that want to get back to work. While England and some European countries have migrants blatantly ignoring social distancing and isolation rules, and some even rioting in the streets. No surprises to see they're over represented in case numbers... There are videos floating around Facebook of the following article (buried on the third page of a google search) destroying a police van and I'm buggered if any of them are Belgians. https://www.cairnspost.com.au/news/b...99a15910bca75c |

Ahh... Covid19... The perfect opportunity for Victoria to adopt The long touted “pay by km” system.
15c per km and $1.00 per km in CBD... Even with rego & stamp-duty waived, going to be expensive if you do 20-30,000kms a year! http://amp.abc.net.au/article/12158612

Don't know whether this has been mentioned here in this thread before or not.
(Too many pages now to go back and check). But looking at the latest figures of infection in some of the worst hit countries, and taking each of their respective total population's into account, here are your chances of getting Covid-19 d there; USA - 1 in 3,300 people Spain - 1 in 238 people Italy - 1 in 343 people France - 1 in 430 people Iceland - 1 in 193 Belgium - 1 in 301 people Switzerland - 1 in 312 people Ireland - 1 in 334 people Now imagine if social distancing was not in place, imagine attending a music concert or other crowded sporting event? Puts the seriousness of the virus threat into perspective when you look at the figures in that way. |
