Hi all, just posting a note to say thanks for this site. Fixed a faulty brake light switch today that rectified my cruise disengaging.
The info on here is awesome. Love my SY Territory. 120kms and drives great.
Cheers.

Hi Guys
My name is Sean and I am in South Africa. Love my Fords, currently racing a Mk2 Escort in classic saloon racing &
drive a Falcon 4.0.
Busy building a Falcon V8 also to race.I would like to build a replica Australian
supercar, they are just so awesome. I have a 5.7l Cleveland that is going in there, so I am now sourcing all the goodies I need to make it quick, but not much is available here. I would appreciate any help in locating things like heads, clutches, gearbox and rearend, as well as any bodyparts like skirts, wing and scoops if possible. I will post some pics as soon as I figure out how to do that.

Cheers Guys.

Hi all, new to site, read many times and done plenty of research thanks to you all.
I have an AUII Fairlane V8 that I am working on, already done exhaust, XR8 extractors, hi flow cats 3 inch single system, sounds good and now moving onto air intake.
I am taking delivery of an XR8 snorkel and a K&N filter.
Question will the snorkel fit a standard air box or do I have to drill out the hole, if so any tips on how to do a decent job of it and any other tips for me appreciated.
I saw a good thread once on an XR8 ute that went through a similar transformation but frustratingly I can't find it!!!
cheers Rich

Hey guys.

Now I'm most likely going to get jumped on for this..... I'm a holden man, However signed up to the forum as I was looking for some technical info. I ended up finding it before I was approved.

Anyways, I'm a Mechanic from Vic. I work at a Nissan/Holden Dealership as a Technician. When I'm not there, I'm at home working on my own cars, looking after my family and working for myself trying to kick off my own business.

I will post a thread of the customers car... A XF Falcon speedway car. I was looking for some info on the 250 x-flow engine. (Torque settings)

Well hope you don't hate me that much and hope to talk to some of you Cheers Nackerz

Welcome Nackerz, Holdens are too bad, especially the older ones.
Stick around for a while, you may get a taste for some Fords.

Hi everyone ! First of all, Great site, I've sadly only just discovered it, however I look forward to getting to know you guys and learning some new things.

I am the proud owner of a 05 BA MK2 XR6 N/A, which has faithfully served as a family car for over 6 years, and shows little sign of her age at around 180,000 kms.

For the longest time I've wanted to do various mods, but with a tight leash around my neck,my enthusiasm has been limited to replacing fluids, hoses and light bulbs , until now well hopefully, seeing as the missus now has a daily driver, my once proud stallion reduced to a meek shadow of her former self, will have the chance to shine again !

As I only really have praise and encouragement to offer, (little in the ways of experience) I wholeheartedly appreciate any and all information received.

Thanks
Johnno

Hello everyone,
My names Mel, first time Ford owner in 28yrs of owning cars.My daily drive is a BA MKII XR6 which I've had since 1st week in Feb this year.I came out of a 2.5 litre twin turbo AWD Mitsubishi Legnum VR4.
I'm a bit overwhelmed how big this forum is, so may take a bit to work my way around the site.
My husband and I own 4 cars at the moment.
His daily is a Subaru CS10(Club Spec) WRX. A 1999 Mitsubishi EVO 6 which we've had for about 3 yrs only comes out of the garage for cruising mostly or if we need to blow the cobwebs out of our systems lol. Recently he bought a 1997 Holden HSV VS V8 as bit of a project car.

Gday All, thought i had better introduce myself, my name is Tony, i have had numerous Fords over the years, last year i cracked the ***** with cars and sold everything i had and bought a few bikes instead (cbr250r, vtr1000sp1 and a cr250). i love them all...... but guess what, the bloody car bug is starting to hit again, i looked at an AU Fairmont Ghia (5lt) the other day, now i am starting to look into the 75th anniversary Ghia, 5lt, of course. Pretty rare aren't they? oh well patience is a virtue, so they say.

Cheers

Hi John,We also have the pleasue of owning a 2009 Territory Ghia AWD Steel Blue in colour. Just clicked over 90,000klms, it had 72,000 klms when we bought it in Feb this year. Only problem has been the climate controller box in behind the dash so took it back to Miedecke Motors in Port Macquarie where we bought it and all fixed under warranty and now were in heaven as we drive around in style.
Oh and I beat ya by one year, 65 for me, an older 1947 model.
Cheers

G'day Ford forum members. This is my first time on the site I have just purchased a 1963 Ford Thunderbird, but I am finding it difficult to get parts. EG: Ball joints, tie rod ends, pitman arms and so on. Can any member let me know where I can source these and all Thunderbird parts in Sydney or Aust.
