I heard this coupe is a monster. Is it a BF sedan or another ute mate, how do you find the new auto. Is it coping mods or this one staying stock.

Yea alittle bit of postive pressure works wonders for these Boss engines. 3oorwkw with a 6spd auto and a 25oorpm stallie would be stupidly quick one would think.

Thanks mate, should be good for a laugh or 2.

Should be near enough to run in next week then.
Take both cars and Gaye can set a car PB in the BF. Also I have to make the most of staying in front before Chris "fixes" the new one for you. LoL

You should be at work Man. Crank up those miles in the BF.

Made it home without any damage so all's well.

Results,
1st 13.6@111.5mph 2.32 6oft
2nd 13.5@11o.1mph 2.34 6oft
3rd 13.1@112.1mph 2.35 6oft 88.2mph 66oft mark
4th 13.3@111.5 mph 2.15 6oft 87.5mph 66oft mark
5th 13.1@111mph 2.23 6oft 85.8mph 66oft mark

It was my first time out with it since it's been tickled. A big thankyou goes to Chris from bluepower for getting the car to where it is, whitout you bud i'd still be peddling a stockie around. The car makes plenty of grunt there's no question about that. Even on the baby tune that's in it the bastard pulls hard. Thanks Wade and Chris for the pointer's, always helps having the older boys there to share some tips.

What tyres did you use,
How did you launch the car.

Dunlop Sp 9ooo's. First 2 run's i drove off the line like i would on the street, last few i held it at 25oorpm with the hand brake on and eased the clutch out. Got plenty of wheel spin but it made a big difference. It felt alittle off on the last run in the higher rpm, then again it might just be that i got my ИИИИ handed to me by an 8 sec rotor.

I was there watching you XRQTOR with.. only saw 2 of your runs though.

Well done, I spun out watching you sort of baby it off the line and once past the 60' the car started hauling down the track was awesome, 13.1 at 112mph thats good for mid-low 12.. and the other times seeing it spin for a bit, hook up and send you sreaming off at a great rate of knots.

Get the better tune in there some sticky tyres and let it go Im looking forward to seeing it in action again.

Anyone know who owns the Black BA XR8, shaker, grey strips down the side and nice rims, it looked nice and managed low 14's?? is he off the forums??

I mentioned the forums to him and he didn't seem to know about them so I guess not.

He had a BA XR8 sedan auto. All usual bolt-ons, tuned by Intune Performance to the tune of 250 rwkw???? His best was 14.0 on street tyres. (Mostly 14.1 to 14.2)

There was also a blue GT-P all usual bolt-ons, tuned by Intune, best of 13.78 I think.

Also a AU XR8 doing 13.7's. The bloke was tuning it in the staging lanes via a laptop, but I didn't get time to talk to him.

Great job last nite Leigh. When you get a handle on all that power, you are going to be very quick indeed. (Even on the racetrack) LoL.

That AU was pretty impressive, he was certainly getting off the line well.

Leigh, that green beast of yours is awesome...an absolute sleeper. Considering the street trim those times are very impressive.

Any chance you can post up a full timeslip?

Last night was a great effort Leigh runing on them butter dunlops and the power you have, didnt look easy at all trying to get the right combination launching with the extreme clutch and having to feather the throttle in first, good fun the manuals hey.
If you can pull off another 2.15 60ft like you did on one run and get the rest of the run right you should do a 12 no worries on street tyres.
Looking forward to seeing that thing with sticky tyres and stronger c/v's should achieve some impressive numbers, and then the monster tune well say no more.
That last run you must have felt a bit slow next to that Pac performance RX2 wepon, was trying to listen how much wheel spin you had but the RX was so god dam loud.

I say it again you did well leigh good driving.
