Default Know any good (cheap) spray painters in Vic?

My girlfriend's mother has an XF which she loves and doesn't want to part with.
However the paint is looking pretty sad, there is some rust as well but not very much on a quick inspection. The chrome around the windscreen needs re-plating or replacing as well. Anyway she would like to give it a bit of a makeover.

How much would it cost her to get the rust fixed and to get it painted?

Know any good spray painters on the northern suburbs of Vic?

When talking panelwork, good and cheap can't be used in the same sentence.

Point taken, reasonable rather than cheap.

Yep Doogstar , I'm afraid thats the way it is .

Another idea , there are so many Good XF's out there now , very cheap and in good condition , sometimes you can buy a good one for less than a paint job . (not even thinking about the panel work)

I had an XF Wagon , good cond. Air , P/Steer , 4 speed , country car "No Rust" , Tow Pack (Hayman Reese t/bar) 214,000k's . The Best Offer I could get for it was $175 ? ? Unreg , but with RWC . I couldn't afford 2 rego's

All I wanted was enough to pay for P/Steer on my V8 XB , so I made a deal with my mechanic , I "gave" him the XF for parts and he'll put P/Steer on the XB . A clean swap.

Would it be just as easy to look for a good XF , and take what you can get for the old one ?

Norm
