Thats very quick limping right there. It's a great result esp seeing as it was it's first night out with the twins and just goes to show the quality of work that has gone into this machine.

Any idea what the 6o" was mate, what rubber did he use.

Now where's the figgin video of it, Mark didn't take his camera when he was hiding in the back did he.

aaahhh sheee it .. I wondered where you went .... I should have kept my trap shut

I had a pretty good night .... best of 13.74. Not many runs but oil downs can't be controlled and one of the comp cars (I think) had a prang which took ages to clean up.

Good to see Rod's 11.8 with a lot more to come, Chris's 13.5.. and just as good to see Geea run an 11.0 something . Obviously someone has been burning the midnight oil !!

What puzzled me was the attitude of the staff. People that were usually friendly and helpful were in some cases downright rude. A lot more professionalism is being shown on the whole but I think that someone has given the staff the wrong sort of pep talk. The thing is a customer driven effort and if they treat the customer like what I saw then I think the results will be less of them.
I was originally down as a spectator but decided to give it a thrash .. when I got to the gate I was charged the full amount because I wasn't on the racing list .. but the spectator list. It's only 10 bucks so I am not too worried.. it was just the principle.
Anyway.. enough of the negativity.. in the end I still enjoyed myself !!

Talking Fast Falcons

It's great to see such a varied bunch of fast Falcons, it's amazing what a bit of competition does.

Well done guys

A few years back the LS1's were running mid to high 13's which seemed pretty quick, then when they got their better tuning strategies the times have tumbled. Looks like the same is happening with the Fords

Jeff, your car sounds like mine... smelly clutch too! During the week it got suddenly louder when one of the cats blew out too! :togo:

And Craig...so close to a 10 in the T!

Yeh, that's some awesome package Rod. With that much grunt in mine though it wouldn't last one run down the strip. I'd have to upgrade the clutch and axles to cope with that sort power. For about $15000-20000 GT & XR8 owners could upgrade their cars to a great package with the TT, stengthened driveline and wheel/tyres and brake package. Do you know how much the TT will price at?

I was standing in the back of my ute waving to Rod on the 11 sec pass - he was waaay off, I kept hearing the shotgun blast from the blow off valves

its just a shame the auto let them down, as an 11.81 in limp mode is a tremendous testament to APS and Rod for their development. A manual in the car last night would have seen a GUARANTEED 11.40,

and my info is that APS haven't yet leaned on the tune. Amazing.

I had a crap night last night so I have been quiet. For the record I could only get a 15.30 .... not happy Jan.

Time for some serious mods now, this car is ****ing me off.

Was good to see some of the other cars running though, Rod, your car is totally Silent!! Its weird to see it glide down the track at such a speed and not hear a thing!

It was my first time racing, I got there just when the car smashed in to the wall, and I only got 2 runs which was a bit dissapointing. But I was happy with the time I ran 15.54 @ 86.98mph on my 2nd run.

Well what an action packed night, me and Leo got there just as some car smacked the wall and closed the track for about 40 mins.

All was good though as it gave us time to do the rounds of hand shakes and blow kisses to the girls on the hill (low cut shirts),are they crazy it was about 6 deg last night.

lt was very hard watching you guys run down the black stuff, l only came cause Leo talked me into it. But l might come back out in a few weeks and give the car another go and hopefully run faster.

Good to see the Extreme-Bluepower tuner cars still running PB's everytime we hit the track WELL DONE

Cheers Chris
P.S see you guys soon

P.P.S Rod thats a nice sleeper you have there do you think you might be able to put some speakers in the back and a mic near the exhuast so we can actually hear it going down the track, once sorted this will be the ants pants.

Chrisso,

i was having a top night, but the angry little short man syndrome half cut kiwi was a highlight for me!!

The tyre pressure guage in one hand, the green sleeping tablet (VB) in the other, he was a good sport for a giggle whilst we extracted the **** from him.

onya kiwi, your alright.
