Default Where do I attach the mute for my hands free

I have a AU1 Forte Station Wagon

Where do I attach the mute for my hands free?

I've looked at the wiring diagram but it doesn't show me which one is the mute.

And Is there an 'audio in' so I can run an external source (ie phone, i-pod) through the sterio?

Remove radio cd player as described in these forums,But leave plugged in (or you will have to re-enter security code to use the unit again)...Attach a test light to earth, and probe each pin on the connector that is NOT used for wiring harness. There are approx 2 x 6 pins in the open connector. have the radio on when you do this, and when you get the right pin, the radio will mute and "TEL" will arrear on the display. This is the right one.

You can try soldering onto the pin, but the plastic might start to melt, so you would be better off finding a crimp connector to attach to the pin instead. Thats what i did last week, and it works well so far.

Hope this helps you,

Mark.

PS: Audio in...?????This one I don't know sorry mate.
