Default diff question

I am going to look at a diff from a mkII panel van with a 1.6 next week, the guy doesn't know what ratio the diff is I was just wondering if there are any physical things i can look for to see if it is a 4.11?

so no one knows?
1600 in a panelvan usually means it will have a 4.11 diff right?

Default diff ratio

when u have a look at the diff u have to spin the tail shaft end and count the number of times the center turns. should turn 4.1 times but probably a 3.7:1 so maybe 3.7 times. hope that helps
