Default Are you prepared for a zombie apocalypse???

http://www.caradvice.com.au/119523/b...ie-apocalypse/

Quote:
Buying a new car is fraught with complexity. Some buyers want a family car, or a capable 4WD, or great performance potential – and all vehicles offer different permutations of capability. Confusion usually ensues.

This post is an attempt to look at this process through the lens of finding the best car available, in which to survive a zombie apocalypse.

Surviving a zombie apocalypse is not all that common a buyer prerequisite. In focus groups, the ‘surviving a zombie apocalypse’ box is hardly ever ticked below the ‘main reason for buying a new car’ inquiry. (However, it may be that prospective zombie apocalypse survivors are an unsung subset of the people who tick the ‘other’ box in automotive marketing surveys.)

Looks the goods, but I wouldn't buy it on account of the steering wheel - it looks like a dinner plate.

Can I get more technology in the vehicle too? I just don't feel there's enough...

Just saying - the roads in and out of major cities are going to be blocked in the event of a zombie apocalypse. Might want to think about something lighter, more manouverable and better on fuel.

Hope this helps.

What...like this?

That should help keep me ahead of the flesh-eating little buggers...

Failing that...

“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

My plan would be a fast food venue, provided there is roof access and electricity. You have food and a 360 degree view to shoot the bastards!

The zombie apocalypse has already started - try negotiating a supermarket car park with pedestrians meandering aimlessly all over the place and you're sure to agree.

I've unashamedly thought about this quite alot and have been thinking of what I would do for quite some time now. To the point where I even found this website http://www.zombiesurvivalwiki.com/ (if link doesnt work type it in google), which has detailed plans on everything from self-defence against zombies and what weapons best suit a zombie apocalypse.

As for what car I would use, it would be something with a bit of poke yet enough room to store a lot of gear, so maybe an AWD turbo territory wouldn't half bad.

Im getting prepped, i just bought my truck for it, big enough to kick a s s and small enough to get through tighter areas. Has the space to house plenty of food and water (and ammo) and is fuel efficient enough to get me the hell outta town without stopping.
Just need to accumulate the money for the rest of the mods that are needed
