Sir, I can back that up as fact. That's me. However, doing that also increases the chance of you breaking something, and having to send it to the mechanics anyway.....which I can also back up as fact

Victoria also surpassed the benchmark for the highest number of daily cases in the country with 288 compared to the 212 in NSW on March 28th but the overall National total is still well below the 537 peak of 22nd March.

2 new cases and no deaths for NZ so CMR is 1.427% and active cases drop to 23.

The UK recorded 512 new cases and 48 deaths yesterday so the CMR drops to 15.496%.

Just over 61k new cases in the USA yesterday and 960 deaths sees CMR down to 4.218% and active cases at 51.6% but the raw numbers are rising. Note that the USA is actually minus one day due to time differences but today is already looking to be worse.

Other notable points:
Global cases set a new high
for the 2nd consecutive day with 230,525 ;
The USA had
a 2nd consecutive day with over 60k new cases;
South America passes 100k deaths;
Asia records a new daily high of 55,523 cases;
North America records a new daily high of 78,220 cases and after some recalculations the prior two days were also both new highs;

Lebanon
(71), Libya (86), El Salvador (=298); Kenya (473),
Oman (1,889), Iraq (2,848), Colombia (6,803), Mexico (7,280) and India (27,761)recorded new daily highs, those in blue for the second consecutive day and those in red for a third or more consecutive day.
Those figures in the US can't be correct. Donald said yesterday it would be all over in 3 or 4 weeks............

On abc America just now they were saying that a majority of cases out of Texas are avg 21 year olds. I'm really terrified for my nephew and niece, they are in Washington state and its a red zone.

Doesn't want to take the focus away from the VIC Premier. Daniel Andrews is the focus ATM, and Scotty is loving it.

Gotta love twitterians. They report all sorts of stuff not being covered by msm. Scotty has 3 tags trending right now and they aren't all that flattering.
I don't have an issue with people taking a break, but the timing is probably not the best. Also Dan Andrews copped a bollocking for having his bday dinner with his family the other week.

I completely disagree with this, even that crap about him not being there with the fire.

If your PM, or manager, needs to baby site or the organisation 24/7 then something is very wrong.

The guy is human, has a life and family and is showing that with some (perhaps loose here) social distancing its OK to get out and about if the region is open.

FFS.

The worst part of this virus is the amount of free time sooks have now.

Agree we don't need to be "baby sat" 24/7, but can you imagine a CEO telling a large part of his/her organisation that they need to stay home, then the CEO heads to a footy game the next day? At least wait a couple of weeks. Technically nothing wrong, but it's just not a good look. People follow leaders. Anyhow.

Anyone seen this? It is rather hilarious. I think a lot of outsiders are misreading public sentiment in Australia, particular Victoria. I was following it last night, the responses were not very tame either.

I almost think this virus is a higher being testing us. Do we value money or our lives? Are we willing to work together as a society or ? Ok thats getting a bit philosophical.

Obviously people do.(baby sat)Rather silly statement.If EVERYBODY did as directed,this virus would be driven down.Instead a few “brain dead” individuals deem it is all right to do what they want to do.It comprises all the hard work put in place.I have no issue staying in my “own little world”.As far as Scomo,he should have not been there,that is a agreed.

Hang on.

No one could have easily foreseen the fires. Scotty was on holiday and begrudgingly came back to Australian. I don't know about you but the optics didn't look good!

C19 didn't just happen, Scotty had 30-60 days advanced warning of this impending disaster and to be brutally honest he's done a **** poor part-time job.

Scotty seems more interested in doing soft stuff (photo opportunities) going to the football, having a beer, holding up a shovel.

If you don't believe me, check Scotty's own Twitter feed - it is mostly marketing drivel and NOTHING about C19 recovery. The part-time PM who specialises in social distancing?

As it's been pointed out to me "you get paid the big bucks, do the job or **** off!

To be fair, australia is bigger than one city. The MAJORITY of australia seems to have done the right thing. The PM shouldn't need to put his life on hold just because a few snowflakes don't like seeing others doing things they can't do. Its not like he's taking part in a rally or protest or something. He's just at the footy.

You forgot to add that Scotty's been outstanding at throwing massive amounts of money at C19 - so back to my original question is there a recovery plan?

of course. whether or not you agree is another thing.

It doesn't matter what the PM does or says, he will never please everyone. He is also just a media spokesperson. He doesn't come up with the ideas or the rules that are put in place. There is a lot of people in 'government' and a lot of 'advisors' to that government.

Of course, the 'expert' that the media dredge up with a different view somehow always has more credibility.

Just because the PM was seen at the footy doesn't mean he isn't doing his job.
