Default Bonnet flying open

Driving at 100kms and bonnet flew open is it a known problem on a LS Focus Zetec.

Not that I've ever heard of, cars have 2 stage bonnet latches for this reason...if you're sure that it was closed, I'd take it back to the dealer real quick...But have a visual at the latch first, see if it's snapped part of the mechanism off...

I have not heard of this happening in recent years even to a focus. As has been said they have a two stage latch that is supposed to stop this occurring even if the bonnet is not fully shut.
