Default Wierd Noise :-S

so everyone must have heard the noise a LS-LT focus makes when the car gets started and moves over 20kmh (i think) right?

well ive noticed that when i am driving (for a while too) and take a corner at some speed, if i hit a bit of a bump...ill hear the same sound from the engine again....

this seems abit concerning as i thought this noise is the ABS initiallizing?? isnt it?

anyone had the same noise??

Regards, anthony

Describe the noise?

Mine makes a noise when i take corners at low speed occasionally, sounds like a grinding/almost a squeal noise

It's the ESP, bumpy corners set it off.

It's just doing it's best to keep you safe

Unhappy

That assumes you bought the Electronic Stability Control option on the car, otherwise it sounds expensive!

it sounds like the same noise as when the car first starts up and gets moving...like a loudish click noise.

Mine was doing the same thing (+ squealing)before my tyres were due to be replaced... for some reason they got real slippery even though they still had tread. Might be something to look at
