Default Did someone forget to re-register the domain?

Just went to http://www.aufalcon.com/riksta to check out which pics I had of my car on there, and I got a page "Default marking puppy for sale at aufalcon.com". I then took the "riksta" part off the end to make it http://www.aufalcon.com and it did the same thing.

On a brighter note, http://www.aufalcon.com.au is still working.

LOL, well that's why I went and pointed it out ASAP so that it could get fixed, hopefully its not being camped now and hopefully they don't want some exorbitant fee from us to buy it back.

Default not available

Rather than let a scalper get it, I just tried to buy it
(for the group, of course)
and the two sellers I tried both said "in use, not available"
So lets hope its "us" that have it tied up and not someone else

A nephew of mine recently lost his .com domain name close to renewal time by what he's sure was some underhand deal on the part of his reseller/host.
You can't be too careful.

It would appear that the .com registration has lapsed and is currently unobtainable - or alternately someone has amended the DNS entries for it to point to the current placeholder. I don't know which as we do not control that registration.

The .au domain name (which we do control) is still current and resolves correctly to the site.

While the issue is resolved the site can be accessed via the aufalcon.com.au URL.

Cheers
Russ
