Default AU1 Airbag light

Hi,
did a search but couldn't find anything conclusive. Our AU series 1 forte airbag light flashes three times, then pauses then flashes three times, and keeps repeating this sequence. This is with the key on acc. It goes off when the car is running. I pulled out the airbag fuse to have a look, and it is okay so I put it back.

The horn works when the light is flashing, so I'm not sure if that rules out the clockspring.

Any ideas what else to check? I'm not sure where the seatbelt connectors etc are so wouldn't know where to look to check those.

Maybe a job for the dealer?

SRS warning light is flashing a code 33... which is Passenger Air Bag Circuit [Open Circuit]
Passenger air bag is optional..if there is no air bag fitted a resistor is installed in the 2 pin connector under L/hand dash above glove box.
Resistor has 2 ohm resistance.

either that or ive heard the yellow seatbelt pretensioner plugs that are under the carpet under the front seats can be a bit unpredictable at times.
it only takes one of them to be disconnected or the circuit to have an open loop for a short time to bring up that fault code which will then have to be reset by ford or a tuner.
