Default those pure strong black/coloured wheels

Hi I have been seeing a few ve commodores and ba/fg fords with those 20 inch pure strong coloured wheels. For instance a green car would have the black/green rims, blue car with black/blue rims and so on.

The rims seem to be very fluro colours and look a little cheap n nasty in my opinion. Does anyone have any pics to post up?

What is the general opinion on these wheels on ve or ba/fg fords?

I think Hulk is talking about the rims that have inserts that can be changed.

If they are these rims they are ugly. They were shown heaps at the Melbourne Auto Salon. You can change the colour of the insert to changed the colour of the rim.

They come in heaps of designs.

the inserts on most I've seen are just a real flimsy plastic not a good look if you want green wheels just paint ya wheels green i had a mate with black wheels with the chrome inserts took the dodgy inserts out and refitted all the little allen key bolts that hold them on but he bought black bolts wheels look quite good now all blacked out...

At first I thought you were talking about another style of wheel that a see heaps on VE's. Those ones aren't really my style but do suit them well.
But these 'pure strong' wheels that float around eBay, not a fan of at all. I think they look cheap and tacky.

Yeah those are the ones I thought of at first. Like I said, not my style but they do suit VEs pretty well.
