I am very happy with my Focus and have now done almost 14000 Kms.
However as an 80yo, I am not really happy with the front seat comfort and support, so as this is highly likely to be my last car, I am investigating what options are available to me, are there any upmarket replacements seats available for this car and if so could anybody give a rough estimate of the approximate cost. Yes, I know this is an unusual subject but does anybody else have the problem, and if so what have you done about it?, if anything. Cheers Ken |

The seats in the Sport and Titanium wrap around the side a bit more and I think are more comfortable. Go and have a sit in one at your dealer. They would be pretty expensive but you may be able to pick one up cheaper at a wreckers.

Another option would be to go to an upholsterer, especially guys who specialise in restoring seats from older vehicles. They can add more cushioning and reupholster the seat you have. It could well be cheaper than a new seat.
I can't remember costs but my old man had his Lancia reupholstered. The cost wasn't prohibitive, under a grand for both front seats from memory. |

I Have the sport now for a long time, 4 days, seats are better than
the trend as i had one for 2 days as a loaner while they finished the pre delivery on my sport. They are both firm type of seat but the side bolstering in the sport make it seem more glove like to sit in. Recaro seats in the ST would be a better option but very expensive.
