tx5 turbo

just any1 know if a FE3 head will fit on a 2.2 litre tx5 turbo

As far as I know the F2T (2.2lt) is a SOHC and the FE3 is a DOHC motor and even though I don't know a lot I can't see it being a straight swap.

(this is just for personal use and not to help your case) what car/s is the FE3 motor from and any specs would be cool. I would also like to change the head in my av tx5 but i haven't realy started to research it yet.

The FE3 is a Japanese spec engine but came in different forms. The most powerful version had more power than our turbo we got here and it was non-turbo!

Never get sick of reading that. It's pretty much what I want as a project car one day as it looks hot and 13.6 is a great time for a budget cruiser. I believe that would still be faster than my stock WRX.

Also when I mentioned different forms of the FE3 I believe this was due to different cams ;)

That is a mean tx5... My head needs some work done to it already so I might see if i can fit the fe doch head to my bottom end, if not well I think I would like to find a fe doch motor to slot between the rails. Thanks for the help.
