G'day all
So I just bought myself a 1974 ZG Fairlane. Had a 72 ZF in the 90's and has always
been my favourite car that I've owned so decided once one popped up for sale in W.A. I'd do my best to buy it.
It's in pretty damn good condition for it's age and am happy as with it.
Off to read the boards so adios for now fellow Fordies

Hello fellow ford owners, I have a 2014 xlt ranger which I purchased from new. I have been away on our first trip and guess what 1000kms from the nearest ford man the car just died, cut out lost all power, it has done this on about 12 times with twice while towing a very large van, got the vehicle to Darwin two weeks later was told 85 percent we have fixed the problem a Crank Angle Sensor 2400 km later it stopped again while towing the van I have no confidence in the car please help.

Morning all

I've recently bought a lightly used one owner BA Tradesman Cab Chasis and found this forum which is has a real wealth of information.
I've only ever owned one other Ford, an XC sedan which I had back in the 80's and it's kinda nice to be back in a Falcon.

I realise they have their little "issues" like any car but I prefer to think of it as "character" - hence Itsafordthing.

Hi guys,
I'm Trav... Own a red 2004 BA Ute XL, 6cyl, auto... She's a good car that's had a hard life up in the top end (Darwin). She's starting to show her age and all the normal 120-150,000km faults are raising their heads.

I've already replaced the lower control arm bushes with polyurethane ones, the break rotors with DBA ones, new shocks (Monroe GT Gas), had the trans rebuilt (trans cooler filled it with coolant!) and air cooler for trans fitted, and just replaced the steering column because the ignition barrel dropped it's guts ... now I need my key reprogrammed...

Anyway, you'll be hearing from me with all the stupid questions

Good day from New Zealand

I have owned many Fords, Holden's Mercedes Benz, BMW's actually all kinds of cars from all kinds of countries come to think of it.

The G6E Turbo is the car of cars as I see it, looked for one with low mileage for some time an found it around six weeks ago. I would like to add navigation and have purchased a VDO Dayton unit so will let you all know how it pans out.

Hi all, I took this photograph up at lake Coleridge last week, going to fit sat nav in it when the kit arrives. I have purchased a Haynes manual as Ford were not to keen to sell an original.

Hi all,

I'm the proud owner of a 2009 FG XR8. My second falcon and first V8 and I absolutely love it. My first was an EA 20 years ago, which I gave away to family when I went to Europe. Now living in Perth, wife, kids and decided to spend a bit of my hard earn cash on myself for once and get that V8 I wanted since I was young fella. Love it but looking forward to see what mods I can do to make it better.

It's like a having a hot voluptuous mistress on the side. Who needs Ashley Madison when you can have Ford V8 and the wife gets to ride it to.

Hi guys.

I'm in Brisbane and am now the proud owner of a 2003 BA Fairmont Ghia. I've been around and getting a little old. Last ford was the EL Futura of 1997.

Looking forward to maintaining it myself and adding some things external and internal. Open for ideas. It's pretty stock in a nice Ice Mint colour.

Happy Days guys.

Hey thanks for the add guys.
I am a huge ford lover and have owned them for many years.
when the FG was coming out my wife and I put an order in and got the first registered xr8 in WA. Have had **** fights with ford for many years with different problems. The car has been garaged for the last 2.5 years with faulty gearbox. the usual cooler leak into the box. managed to get to it before it got to bad but still needs a rebuild.
time has now come to get it fixed and back on the road. I think my xr is a passion which people on here will understand. hope to enjoy this site as it looks really good
cheers

Hi all, I have just bought an ex lease 2011 Territory SZ diesel with 149000km on the clock (my 1st ever Ford!) It was used by an agricultural company rep in south western NSW, hence the high mileage. There are numerous things that need to be fixed, particularly suspension wise, & I hope to get some good advice from members of the forum. Great to become a member, look forward to hearing from you. Hi All,
Thanks for accepting me into the group. I have just bought my second GT after looking at cars for sale for years, been a Ford fan for as long as i can remember. My whole family is the same with one traitor who runs a Clubsport. Like they say " you can't pick your family"
Anyway, i reckon I will be on the hunt for a few bits and pieces for the below car. She is an original, matching numbers XB GT Coupe. 1 of 1 in the combo of Polar White, black interior, T Bar auto and AC. Not a big fan of the Rims so they will be the first thing to change out.

Cheers
Simon

Hi

Initially I was just googling info about my ford and stumbled upon this community

It really is a go to place for issues with the car. But it wouldn't be such a great place if us like minded people didn't contribute, so here I am.

G'day to all
