Default Location of OBD2 port on 1998 WF festiva?

Does anyone know if the 1998 festiva (WF) has an obd2 port and if so where?

For some reason i can't find it. Simplest answer is i don't have one! Any other 1998 festiva owners have one?

It certainly should have one as they were added in 1996 - in the US models it was to the RHS of the steering column under the dash and thus on RHD models should be in a similar position.

Cheers

From what I can remember, they were a bit hard to find. Stick your head under the dash and have a good look around with a torch. Finding a black connector in the dark can be challenging! Something in my grey matter is telling me that it points towards the floor and is very close to the bottom edge of the dash.

Its the "Mazda Diagnostic Port" I'm quite sure, its in the engine bay. It should have a square cover on it saing "Diagnostic". I'm quite sure it isn't an OBD port as well, it looks different.

Here is the general location:

This is it here:

Slide the cover to your left:

These cars are made by Kia, its a rebadged Avella, except it has a Mazda B6 engine.
