I saw the car was getting some improvements during the week, sounds like they're working

A 12 will certainly be a great achievement

OK GAME OVER for tonight best was a 13.06 but plenty of racing to come, for this weekend dave is very happy with the car and from what l have been hearing it's the first time a 13 sec car has given chris a fright as it was a bit loose going through the top end of the track.
l suppose l would be too if the thing was stepping out on me half track

Hi guys, ended up with a 13.06, and as the night got cooler the NITTO's turned to .

Time for a tyre update, these Nitto's are junk.

1.97 60ft, and 86.5 mph to the half.

The rest of the 60's were useless - 2.3's etc. Its nice to know that the worst run was a 13.32 with a 2.35 60ft, at only 100mph (waaay off the gas)

im jealous of Daves car!!

Can't say enough good things about these guys, every time the car has gone out it's gone quicker and on the street it is a weapon.

Chris mate a just can't thank you enough for everything all i will say is

That's great man! A 13.0 flat, in less than a blink of an eye you can be in the 12's. My neighbour who drives a Porsche just can't come to terms with these cars doing low 13's and possibly 12's, he says no way they can't do it, I must refer him to this forum. Keep up the good work you guys, the effort is taking us all in one direction only......

Given a few more runs you may have got your 12 sec pass Dave, good stuff almost there.
Chris, i know you have been putting in a huge effort into this, 0.07 isn't much good work...
nice improvement on the 60, is it still a Standard stall and standard 4 speed BA auto?

I believe it was a good night had by all, a bittersweet one for us...........

We have had the auto in and out of sly's car, broken pump gears caused us to try a converter, people who were at heathcote will tell u the results of that. the flashing "d" on the dash will tell you the story.

Hopefully when the software is nutted, a 1.7 60 with a 3500 stall should yield fun for all 260 owners with a slushbox mark, that means you and me!!

Jeff you left at the right time, botched oil clean ups, no organization wrecked the night for many racers with only having limited passes....
I am always fairly positive about Calder Park, I don’t what’s happening but they need to get there sh!t together, no white absorbent powder to clean oils spills up…. then they spent 1 hour cleaning oil up with mops then decided to shut the lane down, they reverted to single lane passes. ..wasted 1 good hour of racing..
They need to find away to get the cars down the strip quicker forget about all the new security and bullcrap time wasting measures..
There are plenty who love the burn out comp, but to let the useless 4 cyl sigma come back out and waste another 10 mins of valuable racing time was a disgrace..
Calder Park in recent weeks has lost the plot...
We need some people who know about racing to run things there..
maybe some OFR members could take over..

Just came back from the Pizza place, we met up with the guy's who were running the orange Capri ET:9.20 there not aloud to run it any more until they put a chute on it, same deal for the centura 6 pack turbo ET:9.30 he has to out a chute and cage in it before he can race again.
At the pizza place they were playing the video of the Capri running down the strip on the TV while we were eating.
Capri spun the crank on the last run, that will hurt the hip pocket.. to much NOS..

That what happend to my mate with his 9 sec Torana because they know the car he wasn't allowed to get scruteneered if he drove up there.Man they have to do a lot of work to get this place organised it wasn't very good as there wasn't a hell of a lot of cars out tonight and some were struggling to get runs.

Im with you Mark, the only good thing about the burnout comp is it gives you time to get food with without missing something that is actually worth watching, i couldn't care less if they dropped it all togethor.

Don't get me wrong, i like burnouts, the thing is many people put a lot of time and effort into going to Calder to race, to me the burnout comp is a waste of time that stops people getting more passes in.
