Does the Plastic Trim above the Airbag on the Passenger side come off ?

the trim you talk about is the spear im assuming, and yes it does come off, as to how, i wouldnt be 100% sure i think there is a couple of bolts, maybe otherwise it would be a couple of clips.

It does come off. In order to get to it you need to take the airbag out and you will see the screws holding it in IIRC.

If you plan on removing the airbag cover first check if it has the break upon removal clips which cannot be reused, unless you are lucky.

u need to pull out the air bag..get flat blade screw driver and pry bottom out...these are one way clips....they are bout 10 bucks to replace from ford....there are 4 or 5 10 mm nuts...undo these then it will pretty well fall out

The way to access those bolts, without removing the airbag, involves removing the center console, and cover to the side of the dash, and using a long arm. It's not recommended though, and if you try that like me and drop a nut, you end up removing the airbag anyway...

Dunno about those clips being $10 though. I bought 8 (in case I had to do the job again) and it was lucky to be a couple of $$.

only need 4 clips cost me 9 bucks on trade from ford....the whole cover is like 57 on trade....there is a bit of space behind it but it looks crap so u would have to mod it to make a storage space
