Default Fiesta St (xr4)

Wheels is pretty sure this might actually happen. Apparently its listed on the Australian Green Vehicle Guide.... which means it is being evaluated. Spoke to my local dealer for a while yesterday, and they agreed they would like a Hot Hatch Fiesta like the XR5T to the Focus... something with a bigger engine to command a higher price and put a halo over the range.

It certainly would be a good idea, And The dealer that I spoke to had the same sentiments. So looks like its almost a goer!

Here's hoping.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... looks like my next car might be an ST!

So far I have nailed it down to a few:

- RenaultSport Clio 182 Cup; Poor Resale means good deals on new, and great prices on 2nd hand. Great Bang for your Buck. Would work well in Balmain as well with work... fashion conscious

- Honda Accord Euro; Second hand they are pretty cheap. Great space for taking clients around, and a large boot as well. Also looks very sexy and classy, especially in black. Great engine and trans combo with the manual!

- Ford Focus Zetec; Dealer told me to wait for the XR5T... however i cannot afford that. I find i might be left wanting more if i get the Zetec. Also the quality concerns. But it sure does look great, and would kind of be an inbetweener with the Renault and Accord. Sporty, with size!

- Ford Fiesta ST (XR4); I have lived with the size for this long, but im wanting more performance and more in the looks department. Something to get the attention of those in Balmain driving the new Polo GTI and Golfs.... ST should do that well, and have performance to match the Polo. Seems like a good upgrade to me!

I think i might start saving now for the ST. I predict availablility mid 2007, after the XR5 becomes one of the most popular mid sport hatches, then Ford shouldnt have any second thoughts about it.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

This is staggering news, I never believed they'd actually get it here, at least not so soon.

Good work all involved.

Teki, I'd say your best bet is the Renaltsport. Those things are Knives. They rate them even higher than the GTi Golf (Only by a little bit). The only reason I wouldnt get one is Cuz i reckon the golf looks better.

I LOVE the RS Clio 182 Cup.... hell i've been on drive days with them, and I am pretty active with their forums. It is great car, drive well.... very fast off the line too. I think they look great. Hell, a car with Xenons under $35K?! Not even the Golf has them standard.... actually, the Golf ends up being VERY expensive when optioned up. The only thing against the Renault is reliability... being french they are not put together so well. Sure, some of them are, however some problems I have heard of....

Lets just say I would be asking for FREE extended warranty... and i would not keep the car for any longer then when the warranty is about to expire.

Hell, I'd have a RenaultSport Clio over the Polo GTI... It is unbelievably high priced [sunroof and leather], and i hate the high rear end. Even my Fiesta parked side-by-side (has happened before) looks better in comparison [well, in my opinion anyway]
