Only a moderate crowd and racers for such a lovely day, I think Calder would be disappointed the $130 will bite them.

Naughts I seen your 11.00 nice run, did you get any better?

Pretty sure its around $50 here in perth, pretty good apparently.
Reckon there will be a price rise this season though.
It sucks you guys pay $130 insurances must be alot higher over there.
If prices went up to 130 here nobody would go and whoopass wednesdays would get the axe,i definitely would pull the pin on the drags for that price.
We get around 180 cars in how many do you guys get?

So Sad - Too Bad - go to Heathcote as they are not all about the money - they will open with low numbers

Its not good making people pre-enter and pay before you race, what happens when there is a rain out and you cant make it for a later date your money is gone.
Will your money be transfered back into your account?
Unless your on there text msg list most wouldn't know that you have to pre-enter and pay before you go, msg's went out on Monday and they canceled the meet today...
Then theres the $130 fee to race this would be the biggest factor is people staying away from Calder.
Issues at Calder just keep rolling on and on...

"Please note that Calder Park has the right to cancel/postpone an event due to weather. Should this occur, a "Rain-Out Pass" will be issued to each competitor which is valid for 3 months and can be used at any Legal Off Street Drag meet. Unfortunately there will be no refunds provided".
Borders on illegal I reckon?
Also bet there's a credit card fee on top of your $130 when you pay online?
Anyhow, Mr Jane won't be seeing me at Calder ever again!

Maybe they're working with the government.. making it harder and harder to use our cars in a safe enviroment!

I know people who are into cars/drags who don't own or even know how to use a computer... sucks if they want to enter!

Bob has knocked back huge money for many years, money isn't an issue when you have enough of it.
Calder is Bob's baby apparently it's written in the family trust not to be sold, its good place for getting good ET's it just seems there is always some sort of drama there.

I hope this meet goes ahead, the word from the last drag racers meeting is the entry numbers are a bit shaky, along with under what rules the under card are running, nitro cars under ANDRA and the rest under something different.

Sad case. Used to be cool going down there for a run or a sticky beak.

I wouldnt be putting money down online when I dont know if the event will be run! (plus of course its too dear) What a joke.

I'm the sort of guy who would turn up on the day/night to run, and wouldnt be making plans earlier :-)

They don't even have the timing boards running today. Can't hear announcer over next car staging so no idea on what's running what. There is a nice Blue corty here looking and sounding the goods but.

Quite a big turnout today, pity about the timing boards!! Must have missed that cortina mate, pity. Mine running a bit slow today.. ran five 11.1 passes. Last time out it ran 10.91 on Radials, this time on new slicks??? Might have to put the Radials back on....

I got 3 run's in, 13.21,14.21 (wheelspin),13.21, I could have gotten more run's in, however my engines on its last legs. Rings are cactus.
