Talking Ticking

Hey. there my car is a ba xr8 ute and it is making alot ticking from the engine bay. But it is only when I give it stick besides that it does not do it. Can anyone help me?

It is only when I gas it. There is no ticking just after I start it. I though it would still tick after I start if there was a leak.

I should probably clarify that i'm not 100% sure, just going on previous experience. I have a mate who has a Holden SS and would always have this very distinct ticking noise you could here inside the car. He had it looked at and it was his extractors.

Maybe worth heading down to an exhaust place to have it looked at? Or even a mechanic if you think it's something else..

probably the exhaust cooling down.

things get a bit hotter when you get up it.
