Default A new fairlane au owner, question for the gurus.

G'day guys ,This might be a silly question I bought an au fairlane 11/99 model sight unseen off eBay interstate(yes dumb but I could not help myself ,the funny thing is the used car salesman forgot to mention all the broken **** on the car)
The question is the fairlane has a tickford 6 cylinder vct engine was this standard on all fairlanes or was it an extra option.

Thanks Jason.

Fairlanes had VCT 6 standard. 5L V8 was optional.
